Wrestling Recap - Bert Mar Invitational

Mustangs,

This past weekend our wrestling team competed in the Bert Mar Invitational at Christopher High School. We are excited to announce our top performances of the competition in their respective weight classes: Andy Hendrickson was the consolation champion, Ian Goodwin placed 8th, Ibbie Peters placed 8th, Clayton King took 2nd, and Nathan Fernandez took 1st place.
 
This was the first time in 10 years of the Bert Mar Invitational that wrestlers from the same high school took first and second place. Nathan Fernandez was also voted by the coaches as the Most Outstanding Upper Weight Wrestler. We are proud of all of our wrestlers and cannot wait for their next competition. Go Mustangs!
