Monte Vista Christian School is excited to announce the addition of CJ Cecil as our new Associate Director of Athletics.

CJ grew up in San Diego, where he played baseball at Horizon Christian Academy before continuing his career as a left-handed pitcher at Oklahoma Baptist University. Following his playing days, CJ coached with Crush Baseball Academy in San Diego, where he served as a travel baseball coach and program coordinator. In this role, he not only helped athletes develop their skills on the field but also managed academy operations, scheduling, training sessions, and player development.

Before joining our athletics leadership team, CJ was already part of the MVC family, serving as a substitute Bible teacher. He is thrilled to step into this new role and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with our student-athletes, both on and off the field, while helping to provide them with an excellent program and overall experience.
