On Thursday March 13th, Freshman Track and Field athlete Anna Conca traveled to New York where she completed in the Nike Indoor National Freshman 1600m race. 

She is one of only 60 runners in the entire country to be invited to to the event.

Anna competed in the first heat which she won with a time of 5:33.05. Beating her own PR by four seconds.

She finished 34th out of 60.

Anna, We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see what else you accomplish over the next 4 years.
