MVC Announces New Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach

MVC is pleased to announce Natalie Picone as the new Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach. Coach Picone has had a lifetime of experience with volleyball, playing both at the high school and collegiate level. In high school, Coach Picone attended and graduated from Valley Christian in San Jose and won a state championship in volleyball with Valley Christian in 2013. 

Upon graduating from high school, Coach Picone played at Cabrillo College from 2015-2017 where she was a Second Team All-American. In 2017, she transferred to Cal Poly Humboldt playing in all 85 sets in 26 matches. After graduation, Coach Picone became the Head JV Volleyball Coach at Sobrato High School, and most recently was the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Mount Madonna. 

Coach Picone has been coaching club volleyball with Main Beach Volleyball Club since 2016 and works as a private volleyball instructor in the Bay area. 

Director of Athletics, Matt Coleman states, "Coach Picone has the experience, drive, and proven record of developing and mentoring volleyball players on and off the court. Her approach, energy, and enthusiasm are contagious and make her a great fit for MVC."
