Monte Vista Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Dustin Mones as its new Director of Athletics. Having served in leadership roles at several Christian secondary schools for over fifteen years, Coach Mones and his wife, Kylie, will be relocating from Long Island, where he concludes a successful tenure as Athletic Director and coach of a national-level baseball team at The Stony Brook School.

Prior to their move in 2016, both Dustin and Kylie served at MVC as beloved teachers, coaches, and members of our boarding team.

"My wife Kylie and I are thrilled to be joining the MVC community," Mones shared. "We look forward to building strong connections and contributing to a culture of unity and shared mission. It's an honor to partner in shaping a Christ-centered athletic program that pursues excellence in both skill and character."

Coach Mones brings a passion for developing student-athletes and coaches who are distinctly different—making Christ known through their character in competition as well as through their skilled pursuit of excellence in sport. We are excited for all that Coach Mones will bring to our athletic department.
