Erik Beckmen hired as new Varsity Cross Country Coach

We are thrilled to introduce a valuable addition to the MVC family, Erik Beckmen, as our new Head Varsity Cross Country Coach. With an extensive background in both Cross Country and Track & Field, Coach Beckmen brings a wealth of experience to our athletics program. He has successfully led the Charter School of Morgan Hill's Cross Country and Track & Field teams since 2018 and has also been a dedicated coach for the Coyote Valley Track & Field Club, mentoring athletes since 2016.

Matt Coleman, MVC's Director of Athletics, states, "Erik's energy, unwavering enthusiasm, and genuine passion for running are qualities that will thrive within our program. Under his guidance, our student-athletes will be propelled to reach their full potential, while upholding the strong foundation built by Coach Lanham. We welcome Erik into our coaching family!"

Coach Beckmen adds, "I am humbled by the blessings and opportunities that have come my way, and I'm thrilled for the upcoming adventure and challenge as the Head Varsity Cross Country Coach at Monte Vista Christian."
